Baptism and Repentance

Matthew 3:[1] In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

John the baptist is six months older than Jesus and John’s mother Elizabeth is a cousin to Jesus’s mother Mary.

[2] And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Sin separates us from God, but upon repentance your sins are forgiven.

Repent is Greek word 3340 from 3326 and 3539; to think differently or afterwards, i.e. reconsider (morally, feel compunction):–repent.

Repentance is Greek word 3341 from 3340; (subjectively) compunction (for guilt, including reformation); by implication, reversal (of (another’s) decision):–repentance.

[3] For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Isaiah 40:[3] The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Matthew 3:[4] And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. [5] Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, [6] And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. [7] But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

The Pharisees and the Sadducees are the kenites which are the literal offspring of satan.

1 Chronicles 2:[55] And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

Kenites is hebrew word 7017 or Qiyniy (1 Chron. 2:55) {kee-nee’}; patronymic from 7014; a Kenite or member of the tribe of Kajin:–Kenite. The same as 7013 (with a play upon the affinity to 7069); Kajin, the name of the first child, also of a place in Palestine, and of an Oriental tribe:–Cain, Kenite(-s).

Matthew 23:[29] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, [30] And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. [31] Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. [32] Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. [33] Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? [34] Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city. [35] That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

John 8:[44] Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

We see in these verses that these Jews and are not from the tribe of Judah. People of the Jewish religion don’t believe in Christ and sadly they’re waiting for their messiah which in fact will be satan as antichrist at the woe of the sixth trumpet when he stands in Jerusalem as antichrist claiming to be Christ returned.

1 John 2:[22] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. [23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

If you don’t have the Son then you don’t have the Father.

The True Christ returns at the woe of the seventh trumpet and immediately after the five month long hour of temptation which was seven years but has been shortened to a five month period.

Matthew 24:[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: [30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 3:[8] Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

Repentance is very important to a Christian, we sin all the time and no one is perfect. You can’t stop from sinning.

God forgives us of our sins if we truly in our hearts are sorry. You also take your sins with you when you die.

Let’s read how many times God forgives us.

Matthew 18:[21] Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? [22] Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

God forgives sin. The only sin that is not forgiven is for one of God’s elect to not allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them when they’re delivered up for a testimony against satan during the last two and a half months of the five month long hour of temptation which will be in the woe of the sixth trumpet.

Matthew 12:[31] Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. [32] And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Matthew 3:[9] And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. [10] And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Tree are symbolic of people and everyman needs to be bringing forth good fruit which is God’s truth. There’re corrupt trees [man] and they cannot bring forth good fruit because they’re not of God. Satan is the tree [man] of good and evil in the garden of Eden.

Matthew 7:[17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. [18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Satan has children and they’re the kenites and they’re not from God they’re from Cain’s blood line because Cain is of his father the devil.

In Genesis 5 we can read of Adam’s bloodline and Cain is not mentioned because he is of his father the devil.

Remember the Jewish faith aka the fake tribe of Judah do not believe in Christ. These are the liars that are spoken of in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 2:[9] I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Matthew 13:[36] Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. [37] He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; [38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; [39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. [40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

Matthew 3:[11] I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

John felt unworthy to be baptizing Jesus. Jesus was a teacher and He was showing us the way. If Jesus was baptized then we should also.

John 14:[6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Matthew 3:[12] Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

The chaff are the unglodly. God fans to remove the chaff. Satan on the other hand sifts to remove the wheat.

Psalms 1:[4] The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. [5] Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. [6] For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Matthew 3:[13] Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. [14] But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? [15] And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

Luke 3:[21] Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, [22] And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. [23] And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,

This was the anointing of the Messiah and this would be the start of His ministry.

Stay in God’s Word and receive the knowledge and wisdom that the only True God can give you.

Let the Holy Spirit lead you and guide you, repent and be blessed.
