Colossians 2
[8] Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Don’t follow the traditions of men it will keep you in bondage. Don’t be pulled away from the LORD with false teachings and the enticing words from man. Worship God and Him alone.
[9] For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
We find our rest in Christ. (Hebrews 4)
Matthew 11:[28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Colossians 2:[10] And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
All power comes from God.
Isaiah 45:[5] I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: [6] That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
Colossians 2:[11] In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Circumcision is of the heart and it applies to both male and female. Circumcision is to know and understand God’s word and to understand the mystery of God. Matthew 13 and John 8 is where you will find the mystery.
Romans 2:[28] For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: [29] But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
1 Corinthians 7:[18] Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised [19] Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
Colossians 2:[12] Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
Operation means energy and we’re to draw that energy from the Father. He is our creator and is the only one with the power to raise someone from the dead.
When a person is baptized we’re recognizing that Christ went into the tomb and was resurrected three days later, symbolically when we’re baptized we die when going into the water and then we’re resurrected when we come out of the water and this is spiritually speaking.
Repent and be free from your sins.
Romans 6:[3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. [7] For he that is dead is freed from sin. [8] Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: [9] Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. [10] For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. [11] Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Colossians 2:[13] And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened (make alive) together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Christ’s blood was the bloodletting for one and all time and ceremonial law which is the sacrifice of animals and all blood ordinances were nailed to the cross. Christ’s blood was shed for all mankind. Christ became our Passover.
1 Corinthians 5:[6] Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? [7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

God’s law on the other hand is still in effect (Exodus 20). The health laws of Leviticus 11 are still in effect and all animals our not fit for consumption and we’re to eat the meats that are to be received and not all animals are to be received.
1 Timothy 4:[3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. [4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Rightly divide God’s word.
Matthew 5:[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. [18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. [19]Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Colossians 2:[15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Christ defeated death and death is one of Satan’s names (Hebrews 2:14).
Colossians 2:[16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:[17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Don’t make a religion out of any of those things.
The law is still in effect but the bloodletting was nailed to the cross.
Revelation 22:[14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Amen for God’s truth.
Let the Holy Spirit lead you and guide you, repent and be blessed.
