The Crucifixion—Part One

Matthew 26
[1] And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples, [2] Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

Christ is wanting His disciples to understand what is going to transpire.

[3] Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,

They’re conspiring to kill Jesus. The scribes and Pharisees sit in the seat of Moses and Moses represents the law.

Matthew 23:[1] Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, [2] Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: [3] All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Matthew 26:[4] And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.

The scribes and Pharisees don’t want the people to get angry. These are in fact the kenites which are the literal offspring of satan. (John 8)

Matthew 26:[14] Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, [15] And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

Thirty pieces of silver is what our Lord Jesus Christ was bought for, a price of a slave.

(16) And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

This was foretold long ago in Psalms 41

Psalms 41:[9] Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

Matthew 26:[17] Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? [18] And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples. [19] And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

This is known as the last supper.

[20] Now when the even (sundown) was come, he sat down with the twelve. [21] And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. [22] And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? [23] And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me. [24] The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

Psalms 22 is where this is written, this was foretold a thousand years before the event. Scripture must be fulfilled.

[25] Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.

Judas betraying Jesus Christ was written long ago in Psalms 41.

[26] And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

Jesus is the bread of life. The bread is symbolic of Christ’s body.

John 6:[33] For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. [34] Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. [35] And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Matthew 26:[27] And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

The wine being symbolic of Christ’s blood shed on the cross.

[28] For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Through Christ’s death burial and resurrection we have eternal life, if we believe and upon repentance your sins will be forgiven, IF you’re covered by the blood of the Lamb.

[29] But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

John 13:[27] And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly. [28] Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him. [29] For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor. [30] He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

Matthew 26:[31] Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. [32] But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee. [33] Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.[34] Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. (three times)

Zechariah 13:[7] Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Matthew 26:[35] Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples. [36] Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. [37] And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

[38] Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye hear, and watch with me.

We’re to be watchman as well.

Mark 13:[37] And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Matthew 26:[39] And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Christ was talking about the cup of wrath that is poured out at the seventh trumpet.

Isaiah 51:[17] Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out. [18] There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up. [19] These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee? [20] Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God. [21] Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine: [22] Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: [23] But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.

Matthew 26:[40] And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

The hour being symbolic of the five month long hour of temptation (Daniel’s 70th week) which was seven years but has been shortened by Christ to a five month period.

Matthew 24:[22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. (Revelation 9:5 & 10)

The hour of temptation begins when the great horn of the he goat gets broken, [Daniel 8:8] that’s when satan and his angels will be cast out of heaven. This is known at the woe of the fifth trumpet. There’re three woe trumpets written in God’s word.

We’re in the fifth trumpet now but the woe of the fifth trumpet was held back for the sealing of the 144,000 that is taking place right now and will happen all the way up until the woe of the fifth trumpet.

Revelation 7:[1] And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. [2] And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, [3] Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Planting the seed of the seal of God into the minds of the 144,000.

Revelation 8:[13] And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, (5) woe, (6) woe, (7) to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Woe trumpet five is when satan and his angels are cast out of heaven and onto the earth. This will be the political beast the new world order.

Woe trumpet six is when satan will appear in Jerusalem as antichrist after healing the deadly wound to the one world political system (new world order) and this will be the religious beast and both of these beasts being satan.

Matthew 26:[41] Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

The temptation being when satan stands in the holy place (Jerusalem) as antichrist claiming to be christ returned.

You cannot be tempted if you know satan comes before the return of the TRUE Christ. A lot will enter into temptation and fall away to the false christ at the woe of the sixth trumpet. The falling away is written in 2 Thessalonians 2.

[42] He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

Again this cup being the cup of wrath that is poured out at the woe of the seventh trumpet on the ones that were deceived by satan and failed to repent.

[43] And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

Asleep like many are doing today blind to the truth and too lazy to study God’s word for themselves. You will be the only one standing in front of God answering for what you’ve done. We all will.

[44] And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

Asking the Father three times and Christ is our example.

[45] Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Don’t fall asleep when we should be watching for His return at the seventh and last trump and after the five month long hour of temptation.

Matthew 26:[46] Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me. [47] And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

These were temple guards not the Romans.

[48] Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. [49] And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.

Christ betrayed by a kiss. The kiss of death.

[50] And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.

This was written long ago in the book of Psalms.

Psalms 41:[9] Yea, mine own familiar friend, (Judas) in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. [10] But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. [11] By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. [12] And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. [13] Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

Matthew 26:[51] And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear.

The ear being cut off is a type of deadly wound, that will happen right before the sounding of the sixth trumpet (woe trumpet six). Satan will heal the deadly wound to the one world political system (NWO) by his appearance in Jerusalem as antichrist. This is when the whole world wonders after the beast.

Revelation 13:[3] And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. [4] And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? [5] And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

The deadly wound is by a sword.

[14] And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Matthew 26:[52] Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

John 18:[10] Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.

This scripture gives a little more detail.

Matthew 26:[53] Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

Christ gave us power over all our enemies, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 10:[19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. [20] Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Order negativity and evil spirits out of your life, send them to the abyss and for them to never return, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 26:[54] But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

Isaiah 53:[7] He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Matthew 26:[55] In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.[56] But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

The shepherd (Jesus) was smitten and the sheep scattered.

[57] And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

John 18:13 And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. [14] Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

John 18:[28] Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

Matthew 26:[58] But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest’s palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end. [59] Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

They were conspiring to commit murder.

[60] But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, [61] And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

This wasn’t what Christ said.

John 2:[19] Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. [20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? [21] But he spake of the temple of his body.

Matthew 26:[62] And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? [63] But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. [64] Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

The clouds being the armies (Zadok) which were in heaven at the seventh and last trump. (Revelation 19:14).

[65] Then the high priest rent (tore) his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

Satan will blasphemy against God when he appears in Jerusalem as antichrist.

Revelation 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Matthew 26:[66] What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death. [67] Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands, [68] Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

[69] Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. [70] But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest. [71] And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.[72] And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man. [73] And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee. [74] Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

The three denials of Christ is a type of the three christian nations being plucked up by the roots at the sounding of the sixth trumpet.

[75] And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

This was done for an example for us to never deny the Lord Jesus Christ at anytime. We’re to wait for the sounding of the seventh trumpet when the TRUE Christ returns.

Let the Holy Spirit lead you and guide you, repent and be blessed.

This is the end of part one.
