The Last and Final Trumpet

1 Corinthians 15
[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. [51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

We cannot enter heaven in the flesh.let’s look what the word Sleep in the Greek

Sleep is word #2837 from 2749; to put to sleep, i.e. (passively or reflexively) to slumber; figuratively, to decease:–(be a-, fall a-, fall on) sleep, be dead.

Not everyone is going to die a flesh before the second advent happens. Those who are alive at that time will instantly change into their spiritual bodies when Christ returns at the last trump. (The woe of the seventh trumpet and after Satan’s five month reign which is the hour of temptation.)

[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. [54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Thessalonians 4:[13] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, (dead) that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep ( those that are dead already) in Jesus will God bring with him. [15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, (the shout is the seventh and last trumpet) with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: (7th) and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

The reason the dead in Christ rise first is because they’re already with him. And we cannot proceed them because they’re already with God.

[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The word Air is Greek word #109 from aemi (to breathe unconsciously, i.e. respire; by analogy, to blow); “air” (as naturally circumambient):–air. Compare 5594.

This is talking about the breath of life and this is when those that are alive and remain will be caught up in their spiritual bodies to meet the Lord.

The Lord Jesus Christ returns one time and that is after satan stands in the holy place which is Jerusalem claiming to be Jesus returned. Satan appears in Jerusalem at the sixth trumpet, the True Christ returns two and a half months later at the seventh trumpet. (Matthew 24:29-30).

There are three woe trumpets written of in God’s Word. [Revelation 8:[13].

The first woe is woe trumpet five this is when satan and his seven thousand fallen angel locust army and this includes the ten kings, will all be cast out together and onto the earth, this is after the war you can read of in Revelation 12:[7]. The first beast is the political beast.

There will be a deadly wound to that one world political system, this is known as the fifth vial. Satan will heal that wound by his appearance in Jerusalem this is the second woe trumpet woe trumpet six and this will be the religious beast. This will be when the whole world wonders after the beast.

Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

The last and final woe is woe trumpet seven and this is when our True Lord Jesus Christ returns.

Matthew 24:[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: [30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Moving on so the meaning of clouds is summed up by Paul in Hebrews 12. The clouds being spoken of is a great multitude of people its not a cloud in the sky.

Hebrews 12:[1] Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay asideevery weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Isaiah 25:[8] He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. [9] And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Waiting for the sounding of the last and final trumpet the woe of the seventh trumpet.

1 Corinthians 15:[55] O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Death has no sting and the grave has no victory because we rise from our flesh death into our spiritual bodies at the moment of death.

Ecclesiastes 12:[6] Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. [7] Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

1 Corinthians 15:[56] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. [57] But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Through Christ’s death, burial and resurrection we’re given eternal life.

[58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Revelation 20:[4] And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. [5] But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Those that don’t take part in the first resurrection will have to wait for the second resurrection. Those who do not make the first resurrection are spiritually dead meaning they failed to repent before the sounding of the last and final trumpet. So therefore they will have to be taught in the millennium, and after the thousand years are finished they will have to stand against satan again when he is released for a little season. If they don’t make the second resurrection then they will be thrown into the lake of fire.

2 Peter 3:[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you, repent and be blessed.
