Celestial and Terrestrial Bodies

1 Corinthians 15:[34] Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. [35] But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? [36] Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: [37] And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: [38] But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

[39] All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. [40] There are also celestial (heavenly) bodies, and bodies terrestrial: (earthly) but the glory of the celestial (heavenly) one, and the glory of the terrestrial (earthly) is another. [41] There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

We’re all stars (God’s children) in the world that then was. And in the world that then was we were all in our spiritual bodies and we were all created unique. See Job 38.

2 Peter 3:[5] For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: [6] Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: [7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. [8] But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

I Corinthians 15: [42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: [43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

The corruption is flesh and it will die but incorruption is our spiritual body and at the moment of death we shed our flesh bodies to reveal the inner man which is our spiritual body.

[44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Romans 8:[6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. [8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

[9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. [10] And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

[11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. [12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. [13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

What happens to our flesh bodies when we die?

Ecclesiastes 12:[6] Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. [7] Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

The flesh goes back to the dirt and the spiritual body goes back to God.

1 Corinthians 15:[45] And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening (resurrection body) spirit. [46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

In the world that then was we’re all in our spiritual bodies. This second world age we’re currently in now we have flesh bodies (vessels) which our spiritual body dwells.

[47] The first man (Adam) is of the earth, (dirt) earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. (The only begotten Son) [48] As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. [49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

We were all made in our own image.

Genesis 1
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. [27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

1 Corinthians 15
[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Heaven is in another dimension and a human in the flesh cannot enter. You have to die in order to go to heaven.

[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, (die) but we shall all be changed,

The word sleep is Greek word 2837 from 2749; to put to sleep, i.e. (passively or reflexively) to slumber; figuratively, to decease:–(be a-, fall a-, fall on) sleep, be dead.

Not everyone is going to die a flesh death before the second advent happens. Those who are alive and remain will instantly change into their spiritual bodies at the sounding of the woe of the seventh trumpet.

[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: (the seventh trumpet) for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

This is not a rapture of any kind this is at the sounding of the seventh trumpet when the True Christ returns. Christ is only returning one time just as scripture is written. Everyone who is alive and remain when the seventh angel sounds will be changed into their spiritual bodies in a twinkling of an eye.

Matthew 24:[29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: [30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. [31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The True Christ returns after the five month long tribulation of satan.

2 Thessalonians 2:[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

1 Corinthians 15:[53] For this corruptible (perishable) must put on incorruption, (unending existence) and this mortal (liable to die body) must put on immortality (deathlessness).

Those that don’t make the first resurrection will be in a liable to die body (mortal).

Matthew 10:[28] And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

God is the only one in control and He is the only that can destroy your soul (spiritual body).

Our souls have never ceased to exist the day we were created in the world that then was we just don’t remember. In the first world age satan rebelled and deceived a third of God’s children into following him. And for what satan did he was sentenced to death (Ezekiel 28) so instead of God destroying his children God destroyed that world age and brought about this second world age (flesh age) so we can all make our minds up on who we are going to follow God or satan? The choice is ours to make.

Satan and his angels and they’re in their spiritual bodies which are supernatural will be cast out of heaven at the woe of the fifth trumpet after the war you can read of in Revelation 12, this will start the five month long hour of temptation half way into the hour of temptation (Daniel 9:27) at the woe of the sixth trumpet satan will appear in Jerusalem as antichrist and will deceive many in the apostasy. (The falling away)

Those who worship the false messiah at 666 and fail to repent before the sounding of the seventh trumpet will be cast into outer darkness for the thousand year long great tribulation (the day of the LORD) and will be in danger of death of the soul (mortal) meaning liable to die. They will have to wait until the thousand years our finished and stand against satan then and whoever follows satan after that will be cast into the lake of fire and blotted out of existence forever and ever. (Revelation 20:15)

1 Corinthians 15:[54] So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. [55] O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Hebrews 2:[14] Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Isaiah 25:[8] He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. [9] And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

1 Corinthians 15:[56] The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. [57] But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Through Christ’s death burial and resurrection we have the victory over death. Believe in Christ we will live eternally in our spiritual bodies.

[58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

2 Timothy 3
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Repent and be blessed. Let the Holy Spirit lead you and guide you.
